How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
How do we book you for our wedding?
It's best to book as soon as possible, typically 6-12 months in advance. Popular dates fill up quickly, especially during peak wedding season.

Do you have a portfolio we can view?
Yes, you can view our portfolio on our website or follow us on Instagram to see our latest work.

What areas do you serve?
To book HollyJ Photography LLC, please fill out our contact form on the website or email us at hollandware@yahoo.com. A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer are required to secure your date.

What is your payment schedule?
A 30% nonrefundable retainer is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due a week before your wedding date. We also offer flexible payment plans to help spread out the cost.
We primarily serve the ArkLaTex and surrounding areas but are available for travel worldwide. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside of our standard service area.

The Wedding Day

Will you be the photographer at our wedding?
Yes! I will personally be your lead photographer. For larger weddings, I may bring a second shooter to ensure we capture every moment. (Check wedding packages)
Do you provide a second shooter?
Yes, a second shooter can be added to any package. This is recommended for larger weddings or when coverage is needed in multiple locations simultaneously. Second shooters can be included in any wedding package as an add-on.

How many hours of coverage do we need?
This depends on the size and schedule of your wedding. We offer packages ranging from 5 to 8 hours of coverage. We'll discuss your timeline during our consultation to determine the best coverage for your day.

After the Wedding
How long will it take to receive our photos?
You will receive your online gallery within 10-12 weeks after your wedding. USB drives and albums may take additional time.

How many photos will we receive?
The number of photos varies depending on the package and coverage time. On average, you can expect to receive 500-700 photos for a full day of coverage.

Do you offer engagement sessions?
Yes, we offer engagement sessions as part of some packages or as an add-on. This is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera and create beautiful images for your save-the-dates.
What kind of equipment do you use?
My camera bag includes the following items: Canon R5+R6, Canon 28-70mm, 50mm, & 85mm lens, Osmo Pocket 3, flash, video lights, and extra batteries & SD cards.

Are you insured?
Yes, HollyJ Photography LLC is fully insured. We can provide proof of insurance upon request, which some venues may require.
